The Zimmer family!

The Zimmer family consist of Kari, Randi, Odd-Erik and Kim Zimmer. They are and have been xtremely important for the development and management for Norseman for many years. In 2009 they will participate in the crew during the event itself. You will meet them from the registration to the finish line at mt Gaustatoppen.

Abouet Kim: Kim was the 2008 Race Director and leader of the Norseman Organizing Committe. He has been giving a helping hand every year since 2004. Partcipation in the race has never been an option as Kim hates to be in a rush. Also he does not run.

When he is not spending time on Norseman, Kim is self-employed and involved in activities as diversified as sailing a veteran wooden boat with children, disabled and others, humanitarian aid in Africa, philosophy, investments and outdoor life. He believes life is a continous learning experience, thus he is presently working with anything, but what he was educated to do; IT and management.

What Kim is bringing to the Norseman organisation is spare time; eagerness to help create an arrangement athletes, local communities, sponsors and crew is happy with; management experience; ability to perform under pressure and luck.
