Changes to the Swim
Due to the sudden drop in water temperature at Eidfjord there are some changes to the swim start.
The start has been moved out the fjord and will now be in the area around Ringøy Camping. See map below
The swim will be according to the map below:
Check-in at the ferry quay Brimnes: 2:30 to 3:30 am (Athletes only, remember your timing chip)
Check-in bikes at Ringøy Camping from 3:00 (Handled by support, remember to wear your bracelet and t-shirt)
If you bring anything to the ferry that you want returned to the transition area, please mark a bag with your number and leave it with our crew onboard.
The water temperature was still 17 degrees out there this morning, and the swim is stil 3.8k.
Remember to wear your timing chip, the chip works in the water.
