After 37,5 kilometres of the run you will reach Stavsro where the last healthcheck takes place, before you can start the climb to Gaustatoppen. The competitors will not be allowed to start the climb alone and have to bring a backpack containing the necessities for the last part of the race. Your support also have to bring the necessities, which is warm clothes for changing weather conditions, food, drinks, a flash-/headlight and a mobilephone. A camera for the view at the top, money for a snack from the cafeteria, and a big smile might also be convenient :) And after reaching your goal and celebrating your finish at the top -do not forget the trip back down from Gaustatoppen. A lift will in all likelihood transport the competitors down through the mountain, but the support will have to walk the 4,5 kilometres back to Stavsro (Now the flash-/headlight will be useful).

In this video we will give you examples and a list of necessities to put in your backpacks from Stavsro to Gaustatoppen -that might give you a more comfortable end of the day, even after the finish line.
