Norseman mourns Norwegian tragedy
Norwegians are mourning the victims of Friday's massacre at an island youth camp and a bombing in Oslo that took the lives of at least 92 people. We in the Norseman organization have taken in the news of these tragic events with deep sorrow, and our thoughts are with those involved and their loved ones.
Meet the athletes
To take your mind off the big race, we´ll give you the opportunity to learn what some of the other athletes expects from the race, and maybe get some inside hints and tips on triathlon in general.

Getting closer
This blog is written on two different days… things were a little too busy to finish it all on one.
Today I´m writing my first part of the blog while sitting at the expo at Challenge Roth - a very special week in my area, and one that is in some way responsible for my carrier as a triathlete. At the age of 13, it was me handing out the bottles and bars to the athletes… surely a reason why I also became a triathlete. I was fascinated, especially by the iron distance, which seems to be impossible at first look.
Endurance Event Project Manager Wanted!
Our colleagues in Xtreme Endurance Eidfjord are looking for a project manager to further develop Eidfjord as a destination for endurance sports. Today they run twa races, Vøringsfoss Race as well as a multi-dayski race following Roald Amundsens tracks across the Hardanger Plateau.
The "old road" is open!
We have just received notification that we once again are allowed to use the "old road" up Måbødalen from Eidfjord to Vøringsfossen for the race.
Charity racing
Team United Bakeries (TUB) will have seven of their team at the Norseman starting line on August 6th. In addition to Norseman, they are focusing on a second race.
Focus and Mind
I´m just on my way back home from sunny Mallorca – the last camp for me and my company for 2011.
I´m quite happy about my training these last few months. Two new people have started with the company so I have more time for my own training and was able to start a lot earlier this year. Also, the next months will be more structured and with less stress than the last years. Good signs for my 3rd start at Norseman.
