Norseman 2012 - What's Happening?
Registration for Norseman Xtreme Triathlon's 10th anniversary edition will open on October 16th at 18:00 CET.
This is NOT a "first come first serve" registration. There will be a full week to complete registration. Deadline for submitting will be October 23rd at 18:00 CET. We will publish the 2012 Race Manual on October 14th. this is mandatory reading before registering for the race.
It has in general been a very busy fall. The feedback from both athletes, support and media has been overwhelming, and it gives us the extra boost to keep going and improving.
Norseman's owner, Hardangervidda Triathlon Club (HTK) will hold it's annual strategy meeting this coming weekend. This will be where the final bits and pieces for the anniversary will be put in place.
Finally, this is what our schedule will look like over the next six weeks:
- October 16th at 18:00 CET - Registration opens
- October 23rd at 18:00 CET - Registration closes
- October 31th completion of elite selection
- Weekend of November 4th, lottery
- Weekend of November 4th, informing the lucky and not so lucky
