Everyone entering the ballot will receive the result of the ballot by email on Thursday, October 22.

A total of 333 start slots will be allocated for the 2027 edition of Norseman Xtreme Triathlon.
Based on past experience, this will leave us with around 250-255 athletes on the start line in Eidfjord on race day.

The ballot is open to all athletes and one ticket costs 10 Euro.
From the 2016 race, we started giving extra chances for athletes not successful in the draw.
Adding an extra chance for every consecutive unsuccessful year in the ballot.
First-year applicants receive one chance in the draw.

If awarded a starting slot, or if not signing up consecutive years, the counter will be reset.
