Norwegian outdoor life (friluftsliv) style—dress according to the weather.
This is a community event where you can make new friends at Norseman.
Athletes, support teams and fans of Norseman are most welcome to join this event.
Our main partner, Defender, will bring a chef and make tasty sliders (limited to 100 people) they will also serve a special edition Defender x Norseman cider (limited to 200 people).
There is limited toilet capacity at Ostangen.
Zalaris x Surpas Wake up run
Join us for a 5 k social run seeing Eidfjord in running shoes.
You can also talk race strategy with the Zalaris CEO and three-time Norseman finisher H-P Mellerud, or just take in the stunning views.
This session is perfect for both support and athletes at all levels.

Pre-race briefing
Mandatory pre-race briefing in Eidfjord for all athletes and support. Doors open at 14:45.
Bike Check-In
All athletes must check-in their equipment in T1.
Norseman crew will check the following:
Functional brakes on bike.
Reflective vest.
Fully charged and working bike lights.
Visible start number.
Timing chip and GPS tracker.
A headlamp is recommended.
Ferry leaves
Only athletes allowed on the ferry. No support teams allowed.
Don`t be late. The ferry leaves 04:00 CEST.
Buffet at Gaustablikk

A perfect reason to stay one more day and night in the “Norseman-bubble” This is the place to celebrate, laugh and share stories from the entire week together. Free entry for everyone. Food and drinks can be ordered.
